About our company

Sudonum started as an R&D project of the old school, global, first feature phone chat app, Mxit.

The original idea was to keep people private and safe in a marketplace setting within Mxit.

We rapidly grew into a call tracking solution to meet the needs of the marketplace businesses in South Africa to help them prove value to their clients. We have since evolved our solutions beyond call tracking. We now offer lead tracking solutions across WhatsApp, SMS and non-traditional voice channels to businesses in Mexico, Turkey, South Africa and the UAE.

Resilience

We also call it grit. Resilience is one of those things you only really see when the going gets tough. It is the ability to keep on keeping on, learning from what goes wrong, and getting to the other side a wiser person.

Ask questions, challenge the way things work, have an opinion. But most importantly, have a solution.

Personal Pride

Whatever you do, make sure you are proud of having your name on it. Whether it’s customer support, buying pastries or sprint planning. Take pride in what you do. This doesn’t mean we have to come up with the best ideas ourselves, but it is our job to find the best ideas.

Imagination

Doing the same thing and expecting different results is insanity. Let’s not be insane. Let’s be crazy.

Do what you say

It’s easier to trust someone when they do what they say. If you’re not going to do it, don’t say you will. This doesn’t mean you can’t fail, but it does mean you’re 100% committed to doing what you said you would, to the best of your ability.

Continuous Improvement

Things might not always be as you’d like them to be, but if you keep improving, you’ll end up in a good place. Plus, you’ll make life a lot easier for the next person who works on it.
